	”Mille Papaveri Rossi” is a travel through the testimonies of Second World War in high casertano territory to the search of the way of the peace, a travel in the memory and identity of an exclusive territory. A festival of the creativity that joines the wealth of the documentation to the beauty of the art and the landscape, the poetry and music to the ability of the fireworks masters. A complete tourist proposal that gather within an unitary initiative the most various cultural and artistic expressions of the Northern Caserta territory. The aim of Mille Papaveri Rossi is to insert the artistic, cultural, historical and architectonic heritage in the proposal of cultural and tourist attractions of the territory of Campania region through various meeting of art and culture and thematic appointments during the four weekends of July 2009. “Mille Papaveri Rossi” from the places of the memory recalls not only the belonging feeling and the identity of a community but a collective sensibility to the meanings of great historical human events. A warning against the barbarities of war, an invitation to the creative expression. Thanks to meaningful testimonies and a rich documentation, “Erba Rossa (Red Grass)” – so called from a memory of a witness of Conca of the Campania Cave that, when was a little girl saw colored of red the grass grown on the place where her fahert was killed - illustrates through twenty-four great panels the suffering and the decorous resistance of the civil population that reacted with courage and dignity to the terrible violences.	11 of July, Saturday HISTORY FIREWORKS SHOW AND MOVIES ON SECOND WORLD WAR • 6 p.m. Movies Audio-visual documentation, also unpublished works, realized by the “troupe” of American director John Huston, and others Anglo-American film operators in the territories included between the regions of Campania, Lazio and Molise during the second world war. Through the testimonies of the protagonists and the reconstructions of the historians, the movie tells the dramatic odyssey of a group of young people of Northern Caserta territory deported in Bavaria and forced for twenty months to the hard labour in the war nazist industry till the liberation and return at home in the spring of 1945.	25 of July, Saturday DOCUMENTARY REPORTAGE DI GUERRA: TERRA DI LAVORO 1943-1945 • 5 p.m. Documentary “reportage di guerra: terra di lavoro 1943-1945” Municipality of Presenzano • Presenzano City Hall The documentary draws up the movies realized by american combat cameramen from 1943-1945. It has been obtained by the american military archives. 26 of July, Sunday MEETING RASSEGNA DELLA MEMORIA E CONVEGNO CONCLUSIVO • 6 p.m. Photografic Exhibition about the memories of the second world war Municipality of Roccamonfina • Roccamonfina City Hal The “Rassegna della memoria” draws up the documentation obtained by the military archives of College Park, Maryland - United States of America, the Public Record Office, the Imperial War Museum of London and the archives of some British Productions.
